The location was great and lovely for exploring this good area, right by most things-shops, park, heritage buildings, blue mountain and park opposite and Main Street. I had reasonably priced room for new carpet.

The hotel has recently been renovated and it's quite neat. the breakfast included in the price was great and the central location was ideal as it allowed for easy access to everything.
The room was quite tiny and the heater didn't work that well. there was only one flimsy pillow for the bed which led to waking up with neck pain.

Best aspects of my New Year stay in this hotel were the two complimentary drinks offered upon arrival, and the chocolate treat left on my pillow. the location was perfect, walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. the room was spacious with a beautiful view of the park across the street.
the staff did not seem to care and offered no assistance in finding alternative options.
